ALICIA GARGARO-MAGAÑA is so thrilled to be born and raised in Los Angeles!

A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, she is a writer, producer and photographer with over twenty years of experience in the feature film and television industries. GARGARO-MAGAÑA, started her career as a development assistant at TriStar Pictures and then went on to become creative associate for Universal Studios Hollywood. She helped produce Academy Award-winning film “What Dreams May Come” with Robin Williams. Following this, she became producer for two channels for Deepak Chopra’s multi-media company, MyPotential.com, a pioneering entity focusing on helping individuals live a full, enriched life.

Fortunate to work at prolific production company World of Wonder, Alicia produced the award-winning documentary for the WE Network “Tammy Faye: Death Defying” and “Secrets of the Sexually Satisfied Woman” with Drs. Laura and Jennifer Berman for Lifetime. She then continued to produce for other companies hit series such as TLC’s “Take Home Chef” with Curtis Stone, The Travel Channel’s “Amazing Vacation Homes,” with lifestyle expert Didiayer Snyder and programs for Discovery Health and Discovery International. She has served nine years as Agency Producer for the Ford Motor Company’s branded integrations on “American Idol” and for five years, again for World of Wonder, as Talent Producer on the award-winning “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”

Her writing has appeared in the Los Angeles Times Magazine, Los Angeles Magazine, iFilm, Cooking Light and Creative Planet. With her production and publishing company, Pictures of Los Angeles, Inc. they have produced work for FremantleMedia UK, and videos for non-profits such as the Achievable Clinic, and following Los Angeles City leaders such as City Council member, Tom LaBonge. Pictures of Los Angeles, Inc. also produced the award-winning short film, “Finding Judy” with director Gary Riotto.

Alicia Gargaro-Magaña hosts Fertility Goddess Television on YouTube and with Pictures of Los Angeles, Inc.’s publishing division, has published first book Miss Fancy Pants – with Miss Fancy All At Sea and Splendid, a collection of short stories, soon to follow. Magnificent Arts is the new arm of the company, working on creative media projects and podcasts both in the US and internationally.
