A New Year

A New Year begins and we are already into February. Winter in Los Angeles is magical. Sunshine, sun showers, windy walks, bustling cafés, fancy coffee mixing with prayers for rain. We dance when the drops fall, spelling for more, while the rest of the country is awash in water, sleet and snow. We are the high desert, the low valley and the hiking mountains. We adventure into our each new day, being in the present, taking deep breaths, knowing all we have is this very moment. I am in gratitude at this moment for life. Just for life. I am fortunate beyond and I know it. I give thanks and lively up myself. Bob Marley said, “Lively up yourself and don’t say no.” Give it a go. Life is beautiful.
